Why do you think it is important to celebrate International Women’s Day?
It’s the one day of the year that recognises the value that women bring to the world and showcases the incredible struggles of women who paved the way for others – we wouldn’t be living our lives how we are now if it weren’t for those incredible women who fought for us.

Have you faced any barriers in your career due to being a woman? If so, how did you overcome them?
I have, although I do believe this is reducing all the time. I have overcome this by hard work, standing strong and having the determination to be treated equal.

What is the most important piece of advice you have been given?
No matter what scenario you are in – a little progress each day, adds up to big results.

How can we encourage more women to pursue entrepreneurship or senior leadership roles in their career?
Encourage employees to share their ambitions with management and provide the tools necessary to achieve those goals.

What is the most important message you want to send out to young women thinking about their careers?
Decide what you want, set goals and do whatever is necessary to achieve these, whether it be today, tomorrow or next year- failure is not option. We have one life, live your best life!

Is there anyone that inspires you in your career?
My Mum, she’s always worked hard to provide for her family and continues to do so. She’s such an inspiration to me and forever will be

Why do you think diversity in the workplace is so important?
I believe this makes companies more creative & innovative, which will create success within companies and individuals.

If you could have dinner with three inspirational women, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Princess Diana – Kind, loveable and she wasn’t afraid to be different.

Malala Yousafzai – Fearless and a truly brave woman who fights for what she believes in.

Beyoncé – Talented , hardworking, strong and empowering to women.
