One of the UK’s leading industrial lighting specialists, Hilclare, has delivered a full lighting installation at Manière De Voir’s new, state of the art warehouse, which will provide significant savings and reduced energy consumption for the growing brand.
Manière De Voir, a UK-based fashion brand, experienced unprecedented growth during the first national lockdown in 2020 and therefore needed to relocate to a larger premises.
Upon moving to the new, 47,000sq/ft warehouse, the brand needed a lighting solution, which is where Hilclare, the lighting specialists, stepped in.
Following a site visit and understanding Manière De Voir’s requirements, Hilclare provided a full lighting solution for the areas where stock processing, storage, pick and pack and dispatch are coordinated from.
Hilclare provided a host of lighting including 240w Hado UFO style Highbays along with Empo LED twinspot emergency fittings.
Iain Ratcliffe, Operations Manager at Manière De Voir, said: “We’ve been delighted with the work undertaken by Hilclare. Right from the outset their level of service has been of the highest standard right through from the sales team to the scoping visit and the installation.
“The visit was extremely thorough, and we were given a clear indication of what was needed and the potential savings this would generate.
“We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Hilclare or using them in the future for any of our own projects.”
Following the installation, having been impressed by the service, the fashion brand is now looking to install Pilot Group’s Energy Management System (EMS). The system, which is engineered and developed by Hilclare’s parent brand, Pilot Group would provide reduced CO² emissions and deliver significant cost savings for Manière De Voir.
Shayne Wilson, Pilot Group Head of Sales, commented: “From start to finish, working on this process with the team at Manière De Voir has been a pleasure. Not only have we provided a full lighting solution for their new warehouse, we have secured a reduction in power consumption for the brand that will ensure an ongoing reduction in energy costs from the introduction of these lights.”
Pilot Group believe in using technology to make the places we live and work smart, safe and sustainable by designing and investing in innovative products and solutions that reduce energy costs, enable management through data and improve safety.
“We are delighted with our new lighting system. Not only do our pupils and staff benefit from optimum lighting levels for learning, the school will now enjoy low maintenance and reduced energy bills for many years to come.”

“We are proud to have been commissioned for this project. Bringing schools up to date with the latest lighting technologies is a delicate balancing act between funding and classroom closure to facilitate low-impact installation. The installation took just over four weeks and was conducted during the summer period to ensure minimum disruption. It’s anticipated that the payback on investment will be in just four years, and by specifying products with up to a five-year guarantee, further savings via a maintenance free system will also be enjoyed.”
